The 7850 Network Services Gateway (7850 NSG-X) is optimized for midsize, large branch and head office networks to provide the connectivity required by today's SD-WAN and cloud computing environments.
Based on the industry's most comprehensive Software Defined Networking (SDN) solution, the 7850 NSG-X seamlessly integrates with Nuage Networks Virtualized Network Services (VNS) SD-WAN solution.
The 7850 NSG-X is used to connect WAN locations and remote sites to enterprise data centers and cloud providers with optimal network efficiency and VSP (Cloud Networks Virtualized Services Platform) controller-managed configurations . The solution offers multiple service scenarios, namely Layer 2 VPN, Layer 3 VPN, and Internet connection.
The 7850 NSG-X is one of the supported form factors for the NSG component of the Cloud Networks VNS solution, joining the small desktop (7850 NSG-E) and virtualized (NSG-V), which supports the software-only deployment on a customer-provided appliance as a virtual machine.
The 7850 NSG-X has a 1-rack unit footprint and can be shipped and installed in an enterprise site without requiring any network engineering expertise. Because it is centrally managed, it improves the efficiency and productivity of branch operations while eliminating the need for any onsite IT support.
The 7850 NSG-X is integrated using a secure boot process that uses zero, one, or two-factor authentication depending on the branch office trust model and the setup and posture of the security. Once started, it enables instant networking capabilities at the branch office.
Additionally, the 7850 NSG-X easily connects to any vendor's IP underlay network (private, public, or hybrid) over any access using its Gigabit ports (RJ-45 and WAN-oriented and 10 Gigabit Ethernet (SFP+) SFPs.
Policy-based network automation capabilities are extended seamlessly across the branch, allowing users to automatically connect to any application in any cloud (public or private). As a result, the provision and consumption of network services are greatly simplified.
Additionally, multiple network functions can be chained together in service, and using policy-based routing, traffic can be routed to one or more appliances (such as firewalls or IDS/IPS appliances) or virtualized functions at any location before being transferred to the final destination.
For locations that have high availability requirements, the 7850 NSG-X can be deployed in a high availability configuration providing resiliency models at the device, link, and subnet levels. It also supports network uplink redundancy for WAN service protection.
The 7850 NSG-X's LAN-facing Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports can be used for logical and physical isolation and segmentation of users or applications to support the creation of security zones aligned with industry IT practices. the company.

Grade "A" products will have overall excellent to very good cosmetic condition. Some Grade "A"units will be cosmetically pristine while others may have light scratches or other minor blemishes. Some Laptops may exhibit some shiny areas around the keyboard (space bar, touchpad and/or touchpad buttons), but the keyboard keys will be in excellent condition.
